Fall 2023 Colorado School Social Work Conference

Wednesday, September 27, 2023

8:30 am - 3:45 pm

Adams 12 Conference Center: 1500 E. 128th Ave, Thornton, CO 80241

Registration closed on Friday, September 8th.

The Colorado School Social Work Association (CSSWA) is honored to present the 2023 Colorado School Social Work Conference: Building Student Success.

This is our first in-person conference in over seven years, and we plan to continue offering an in-person fall conference in the years to come.

Building Student Success is for school social workers and other mental health professionals or educators who support the social emotional and mental health needs of Colorado students.

The keynote speaker, Dr. Karen McAvoy, and breakout session presenters will share their expertise on various topics related to school social work practice.

Attendees will walk away with new knowledge, insight, and tools to enhance their work with students and youth across Colorado.

At registration, attendees will rank order their preference for breakout sessions. The CSSWA conference committee will create custom schedules for each attendee, as aligned with their indicated preferences as possible, and as space will allow in the multiple rooms at the conference venue.

Lunch is included in the cost of registration. Attendees will be able to indicate a gluten-free lunch preference when they register.
